About GARUD Times

GARUD Times is a news platform for India: verified, local and available in your language. We combine our own reporters across states with carefully labelled coverage from other outlets, so you can see what is confirmed and what is still developing.

How we label stories

Every story carries a Garud Seal: Verified (checked by an editor against primary sources), Developing (reported but still being confirmed) or Unconfirmed (from a wire or another outlet; we link to the original).

Our reporters

Reporters apply, are identity-checked and have their work reviewed before they are given access. Every story is read by an editor before publication.
