6.20pm This is of course Smriti Mandhana's first assignment as India's new captain. She took over the reins from Harmanpreet Kaur after captaining Royal Challengers Bengaluru to two WPL titles and has a track record of taking gutsy calls and backing her players. Here's Shashank Kishore's piece on what we can expect from Smriti Mandhana, the captain . 6.10pm In the first T20I, India were chasing 115 but found themselves in trouble at 19 for 4. Then a fifth-wicket partnership of 82 runs helped them come back and win the match. One half of that partnership was Deepti Sharma, a veteran of 289 international appearances. At the other? Niki Prasad, who was playing her first match for India. Deepti 1st innings
